Hotel on the beach, without beach.
Great Hotel, as an hotel, but only if you like pool swimming, and don’t care about taking the sun on the beach. It doesn´t have a beach space, not at all, for you to feel the real thing. If you decide to take this hotel, do it ocean front room, you’ll feel like on a cruiser, great view from there, taking into account that the sea has eaten away the beach in the hurricane.
If you take this hotel, Fiesta Americana Condesa, you better consider to rent a car so you might o avoid boredom on the pool. There are a lot of sites to visit if you get a car rent.

A very pleasant stay
As usual, the Mayan Riviera people are very hospitable, friendly, and they love to help and smile. The Fiesta Americana Cancun, Condeesa was well managed, all the facilities were in top shape, and the service was superb. Halfway through our stay, Tropical Storm Ida blew in and we ended up spending most of the time just hanging around at the hotel watching it rain. But we were very comfortable and I would stay there again.
You are close to a Pizza Hut and McDonalds. I recommend both for some cost savings, the McDonalds breakfast is Mexican Huervos style, but tasty. The pizza is very good at Pizza Hut, all walking distance.

Loved it!
My husband and I loved everything about this resort. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fairly reasonably priced. The pool was extremely spacious, lots of pool chairs, and a great pool temperature. I don’ t think there was a single thing we didn’t enjoy about this resort or the trip in general. We definitely reccommend taking the bus for any kind of transportation. It’s cheap and efficient. Just be sure to tell the bus driver where you are going, otherwise they may not stop. We also ate at a restaurant across the street from our resort, about a block down called the Laguna Grill. It was the best place we ate while in Cancun. The prices are mid-range, but definitely worth it. It also has a beautiful view of the sunset over the lagoon. We also reccommend taking advtange of the Best Day travel representative. They helped us find and plan activities. They are extremely knowledgable and helpful!
