SOOOOO NOT IMPRESSED!!!!
We stayed here for almost a week and it was a very unpleasant experience. The furnishings were rather shabby and beat up. The bed was big but as hard as the floor. Thank goodness there were plenty of pillows. There are no amenities nearby. The continental breakfast was second rate. If they ran out of anything it was not restocked. The front desk only had one person who was helpful and attempted to be nice. The rest were arrogant and snobby. We had called several times before we arrived and told that a request of ours would be taken care of only to find that when we arrived nothing had been done. There is no access to the pool after 6:00 in the evening, so if you want to relax after a day of sightseeing you are our of luck. In short....do not stay here if you are vacationing. It will ruin your visit.

HORRIBLE
This hotel was far from all the attractions, they dont have no parking arranged, they have no ties to the parking structure below, resulting in a $38 parking total for ONE night (3p-12p). And there beds are beat down, they need NEW COMFORTABLE beds, especially since they only have 21 rooms! But I must admit it was a good view, especially at night, and its spacious, and they have a good continental breakfast! Oh and did I mention theres like 3-4 elevators you have to take just to get from the no good parking garage to the hotel! Oh and also the parking garage "payment center" didnt give us our change back and so we had to wait for them to review the security tapes (to see if we were lying) and then we had to go through ways to get our reimbursement! I must say this experience made me not even want to come back to Chicago!!!! I couldnt WAIT TO GET HOME!!!

Nice Stay
The Buckingham Athletic Club was a nice place to stay. It is a bit off the beaten path, but the rooms are big and comfortable with great views of the city.
