Not what I expected
Of course hotel rooms are never going to be what they picture on their website, but they boast that this place was recently renovated and paint was chipping on the walls, the windows didnt work properly and the sofabed was broken. There are different buildings on the campus that seemed very nicely maintained, but thats not where we were placed. This "resort hotel" also caters to a lot of tour groups so when we had to wait in line over 1 hr to check in for less than mediocre rooms was not worth it.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

great location and good beach and walking areas on site
We were pleasently surprised with the room and all the walking paths both along the beach and the wooded areas. Our room had enough supplies to make breakfest and prepare snacks for our day trips. The beaches are primarily manmade flat stone or pebbles (no sand)and very comfortable to lay out on. The water was clear, much nicer than on the italian side. The resort has a grocery store, several restaurants, and a pier to catch ferries to porec or novigrad every hour. If you want Sheraton....this is not for you....but if you want simple, casual, and much lower prices......you cant beat it and i would visit again
