The worst hotel I have ever stayed in
I have much lower standards for Europe but not this low. To say the rooms were small would be an understatement. The cruise ship room was much larger. The toilette/sink/shower combo was inconvenient. Everything got wet when you took a shower. It was like pulling teeth to get a few ice cubes from reception. They don’t have amenities like shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers etc. Just a small bar of soap, toilet paper and two very small towels. On the positive side: it was a good location, close to restaurants(although no parking). Internet connection but very, very slow and in the middle of the lobby.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Spend an extra $50 and stay somewhere else. It’s money well spent.

Good value
The hotel was clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, the staff was helpful. The only problem was the shower, which was just a curtain around a drain in the floor of the bathroom, so that the whole floor was wet after taking a shower. Not a huge problem, just a bit soggy when doing your hair or putting on makeup afterwards. I’d still go back next time I’m in Aarhus.

Small but good
The Cabbinn hotel in Aarhus is a good choice for those whom like simplicity and comfort. No extra anything, just what you whant. A good bed, shower, toilet (in every room). Close to central of town and thereby the main shopping street. Good resturants neerby. A great micro-brewery next door.
