Great location
1 block from the ocean, across the street from Asilomar. Nice plantings

Definitely do not recommend this hotel
We were very disappointed in our room. The photo on the hotel’s website showed a beautiful, well-maintained suite/room, but ours was radically different. The carpets, while vacuumed, had iron and cigarette burns; the linoleum in the kitchen and bath were stained and cracked; the bottom of the stove in the kitchen was badly rusted; paint throughout the unit was badly scratched and discolored. The kitchen dining set was old, with water stains. In the bathroom mold was growing in the corners and the ceiling, the shower head was badly rusted, the toilet seat cover paint was peeling severely, and the fan had been plastered over, so even though it could be turned on it was not effective since it was covered up (we could hear it running behind the wall). Overall, the worst kept hotel room we’ve ever been in, especially for the price.

A hidden gem.
The room was spacious and it had a fireplace!! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The jacuzzi was private and a little walk but all in all excellent stay.
