Best kept secret
We had a great time at Sea Palms. It is located in a wonderful part of the island. It is very quiet, yet convenient. You can walk to many nice restaurants, and bicycle to favorite island attractions. Staff was very courteous and friendly. The rooms were beautiful. We will definitely come back! Best kept secret on the island!

Great location. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops and a short drive to the beach.

Great location, poor follow-through.
I’ll make it quick. Air conditioning takes forever, and doesn’t go below 70, because that’s the way they have it set. So, when it’s on, you want the covers on, when it’s goes off, you want them off. All night long you will battle this. Then, when we checked into our room, their were hairs, both head and pubic, on the sink, bathroom floor, and in the shower. The maid was called to take care of it, nothing done. Also, didn’t fully clean room/ice buckets on each cleaning. You are apparently responsible for that. The location was great for me. The front desk staff, very nice. The rooms were quiet. It’s just a shame the other stuff wasn’t up to snuff. There are several better places to stay on the island.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Eat at Sal’s Pizzeria. Best pizza I’ve had since going to Chicago. NY style. Delicious. Head to Iguana’s for shrimp, very good. Do the shrimp boat tour/cruise that departs from Spanky’s in Brunswick just over the causeway. My wife LOVED it. Even saw a sea turtle.
