Beautiful hotel-wonderful location
This was a wonderful hotel in a very convenient location with a breathtaking view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was recently refurnished in a contemporary style. Rooms were very comfortable and immaculate. breakfast was fabulous. Will definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The restaurant right across the street from the hotel on the beach was fabulous! The hotel is just a short walk from the center of the old town of Desenzano, which was charming. Don’t miss the Tuesday market, which sells everyhing imaginable!

Sad experience..
Would not recommend this hotel if you are a demanding client. The hotel is clean and well positioned near the lake and Desenzano town. However it was a total disappointment: service is pretty average and not very friendly. I think they sleep in Italy in November. The neutral décor of the hotel reminds a hospital. no charm whatsoever. Excellent breakfast as was described in other reviews I read prior to booking the place is very ordinary consisting of bad coffee, cheap mortadella and other cheap staff. Freshly squeezed orange juice is the highlight of the breakfast. And, if you are an addict of XO cognac after dinner, book somewhere else as at 4*Villa Rosa they are not aware of such thing.

Great Hotel on Lake Garda
The hotel was excellent near the center of town. The center of town housed all the shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I could not have asked for more. I definitely recommend this hotel.
