Not to bad
Stayed here on a work trip. The furnishings in the room looked to be from 1989, *but* everything was in good shape and very clean. Underground parking was nice and convenient. Within a short walk to the food court in the "mall", maybe 3 blocks or so, and even less to walk to Safeway supermarket. For the price is was not bad. I’d probably stay there again.

Fine for the price
hotel was fine for the price. convenient to downtown Banff and satisfactory breakfast.

Only bearable
I wasn’t impressed with the room furnishings, which were not comfortable. The room was at the end of the building and had poor WiFi access. I suppose you get what you pay for...

Good location, but needing lots of updating
Good location, but old hotel that needed lots of updating. Spectacular views from window, great beds, nice breakfast. Just needed some remodeling and newer fixtures.

Good Value
The motel shows its age, but it is good enough. Everything is clean, the hallways and rooms smelled fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a god size refrigerator and microwave oven. Free WiFi worked well in our room. Our room was facing the back parking lot, so it was fairly quiet. We even had a little balcony that had a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was OK, better than many other places I stayed at. The free parking lot fills up around dinner time, so you may have to park on the street on some nights. There is a jacuzzi in the second floor and a swimming pool we were told we could use at the adjacent motel, but we never got a chance to use either one. Location is nice. It is only a 5 minute walk to the shopping and dining area.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Along the way to the shopping area of Banff there is a Safeway supermarket.
