okay
the hotel was decent quality, if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep and shower. the room was pretty small, and chinatown is not the safest place to be at night.

Convenient
Convenient location 5 minutes from downtown, great food a few doors away. Rooms are small & basic, but no complaints.

Basic place
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Chinatown is a really safe part of town and convenient to downtown Chicago. The red line is only two minutes away. You can walk to McCormick Place in ten to fifteen minutes. The room was old, but well kept. Everything was basic but you get everything you need: a bed, sheets, a shower and a toilet. They had HBO Latino but no English-language HBO for some reason. Lots of Chinese TV stations.
Traveler's tip on dining
Eat breakfast at the bakeries in Chinatown. As of summer 2009, the going price for most of their baked goods is 85 cents. You can have a healthy and filling meal for under three dollars.
