only 20 minutes boat ride from the airport and Male. it looks better than pictures on their bruchhure

Had a great time
Kurumba is a very nice resort with apparently some of the nicest rooms in the Maldives (according to others I met who have been to the other resorts). The room I had was well appointed but I did have two minor gripes: 1. it probably couldn’t be helped given the humidity, but the bed sheets, pillow cases and furniture had a distinct musty smell and 2. the group of bungalows of which mine was a part was situation around a garden that seemed a little haphazardly planted... I would have preferred the simpler, plain-white sand and palm tree grove setting that was around other bungalow clusters. Living in California, I’m quite spoiled by quality food, but Kurumba’s offerings were nice. The Italian and Indian restaurants were especially good.
