Late Night Arrivers - San Juan
The hotel itself is very small, the rooms are tiny, the A/C isn’t that great and the "restaurants" don’t offer much variety. Yet I recommend it for people that are arriving late and don’t want to deal with taxis or shuttles because the hotel is conveniently located inside the airport. Makes it nice when you’re already tired from traveling not to have to worry about haiing a cab or getting on the right shuttle. Unfortunately because it IS in the airport, there isn’t much around within walking distance. So if you’re hungry and it’s late, you will either eat what little variety they offer in their restaurant or walk across the street to a bar/grill and pay an arm and a leg, possibly even a cover charge depending if it’s "fight night" - regardless of if you are there to watch the fights or not. However on the upside, the food is fantastic!! If you just need a place to rest your head for a night or two and don’t want to go too far from the airport this is the place to be - just beware if you are catching a cab to go into Old San Juan. It’s only about a 10-15 min cab ride but you’d think they hand carried you there when they give you the bill.

Good for one night
Nice, clean, convenient hotel after a late flight. Pleasantly surprised... Few complaints, as follows. It was hard to find (better signs are needed). You have to carry your luggage down a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. At 10:30 p.m. there was very little to feed the kids-pack something if you will be arriving late.

Good, clean basic place if you need to stay at the airport.
