My thoughts
The hotel was located in a great place whether you wanted to walk around or take the subway. It was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The television offered free movies in English which was great as well. Clean towels, bathroom, toilets and best of all there is a fridge and microwave. The major drawback is that the staff was rude and not in the least helpful. When I arrived I was sick from dehydration and they would not get me liquids or help me with finding a place I could purchase things. I was told they had no restaurant, even though there is a bar in the lobby AND after walking a few feet away from the hotel I was able to find a restaurant which allowed take out. Also, while being offered free internet, when I logged on I had trouble and was told at the front desk she could not help me, could not get someone to help me and did not know when someone would be available to help me. Overall...nice hotel but if you do not speak the language and are in unfamiliar territory, its nice to have access to hotel staff that at least put a little effort in helping you along your stay.

Perfect hotel, perfect location
I believe this hotel is perfect for families not only hotel’s cleanness,personel’s smiling faces but also because of the location. It is very close to major point of interests and public transport. I higly recommemd this hotel for everyone.

Nice hotel in a good location
We were very impressed with the spacious rooms (for european standards) and the cleanliness of this hotel. We arrived many hours before check in due to an early morning flight, and the hotel let us check in right away. The staff was helpful, and internet is available in the lounge. Many Berlin attractions are very close--Potsdamer Platz and the new Science Museum are a short walk,and the Berlin Wall and Topography of Terror are right around the corner.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Cafe right across the street (think it was called Stressman(sp?) Cafe) also offers great bavarian meals.
