Great stopover
Quaint and clean. I was very satisfied with my one night stay and would stay here again.

Very convenient
As a regular visitor to Edinburgh, the Ellersley is ideal as it offers parking and is easily accessible to most parts of the town. It is also very reasonably priced.

Great place, poor information
The place was great, however we had an early flight to catch, and the front desk gave us the wrong information on where to catch the bus to the airport. Then when we had to check out around 630 am, there was no one to be found at the front desk, and when I found someone, they were extremely unhelpful, wouldn’t look to see if they could give change so we had coins for the bus, and we almost lost an entire day of vacation due to the poor information of the bus stop. Overall, the hotel was great, it was in a great location, easy access to the city, but I would not rely on information coming from the front desk.
