Conveniently Located
We had a suite which was very comfortable. Only two issues. One - the air conditioner didn’t work. Not too big of an issue as one can open the windows in September to stay cool. However, issue number two compounded issue number one. The street was very noisy throughout the night. Would recommend a room on the back side of the hotel rather than streetside. All in all it was a good value and I’d stay here again.

Only two blocks from Munich main train station. Short walk to town center - Marienplatz and just a few blocks from Oktoberfest - Theresienwiese.

Water beds still exist
This place is not that bad, it is close to the main train station and walking distance to Marion Platz/Haubrauhaus. It has the feel of a hostel, but claims to have four stars...which is funny once you go in. The rooms were clean enough, but boasted a queen sized water bed. This is not good if you were relying on your room to provide a place to land when you have been out drinking too much. Waterbed+Drunk=sick. Just throwing that out there.

Was pricey, but awesome location!
The hotel is very centrally located, minutes walk to the main train station, plently of shops around. It took me about 10 minutes to walk to the Oktoberfest fairgrounds, which was awesome. About a 15 minute walk to Hard Rock Cafe and Hobruahus, but you can also take the underground. The only thing really bad is that there is a ton of tourist and they are loud all night in the hotel. Plus the hotel is basically in The Red Light District of Munich. I am not sure if I would come back or not.
