Not Impressed
Condo was clean however the blinds in the front room need to be replaced as they were broken. DVD player as this one was an extremely cheap one. Would have been nice if they spend $50 and bought a new one. Player would freeze then plan etc. Hot water heater was only good for one shower. No washrags in the bathrooms. Beds were in very back shape. This particular Condo needs a few renovations. One good thing, it was very quiet which was a blessing.
Make sure you don’t always pay for the cheapest place, you get what you pay for.

Renovated Unit is Key
Prior to going to Red Pine, I’d read up on the reviews, both the good and bad. More than anything else, I noticed that some people had complaints with their units being badly outdated and required maintenance. The night before going, I made a point of calling the resort to request one of the renovated units and they were sure to do just that, and because of which, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant. I arrived at night and needed to keep the addresses straight, because I picked up the key at a lodge other than Red Pine, and had to drive roughly a mile to get to my condo.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There’s a grocery store about 5 minutes away from the condos, and because you’ll find absolutely everything you’d need in the kitchen, you can save some money on making what you like.

needs to be cleaned and remodeled
When you book a condo at Red Pines, be aware there are big differences in the condition of the units. We stayed there with extended family for a family reunion and my brother’s condo was in much better shape. Ours had a big carpet stain, and a stove with a unit that didn’t work, one television and a single Dvd player that didn’t work. It literally looked like it did when it was built in the 80’s. Other family members were at a nearby condo in another area and for the same price per night had a brand new condo. The pools and tennis courts were great, though.
