Great location
My wife and I were very pleased. It was clean, nice decor, beautiful marble bath and shower, nice wood floors and good bed. The best thing was that as you exited the hotel and turned left, you were, literally, 20 steps from St. Mark’s square. We had no view, but that was not important to us. Plus we were able to have breakfast at the Grand Monaco right on the Grand Canal.

Great value hotel with amenity of Monoco
The bedding is extremely clean and confortable. The room might be a bit noisy, but it did not bother us. The hotel is very convenient located and feel great to be able to use hotel Monoco’s facility and service. The water bus stop is right at the front of hotel Monoco. Make sure to check in at hotel Monoco (mother hotel) and the staff will bring you to Palazzo Selvadego.

Very Impressed
All’s we heard about was how expensive Venice is and that the hotels are expensive and very small. Also we heard people complain about air conditioning. I went on Expedia looking for value, a nice room and of coarse good air conditioning because we were going to be there in August. When we arrived we so excited with the location next to St. Mark’s Square, along with everthing else. The air conditioning couldn’t of been any better. The room was great, totally remodeled. The price was great!!! I Highly recommend this hotel, and would book this hotel again when coming back to Venice.
