Good location for Gaudi sights
This was our second stay at Eurostars Gaudi. The location is good, close to metro, but not in the noisy areas of Barcelona. The desk/reception staff are very cooperative and helpful, but they seemed to be understaffed in contrast to our previous visit in 2008. This is a small hotel (which is a good reason to stay there) but they do not offer the services of some larger hotels. Rooms are nice--euro style, but showing some wear. Internet was free, but not always easy to connect with. Overall, good value and pleasant stay.
Use the metro, it is a very convenient, inexpensive and easy way to get around.

great stay, great staff
We were extremetly happy with our stay there; we had positive experiences at the restaurants the staff recommended. We had a special circumstance in which the staff (Laura) stepped up the plate and solved our problem: my son had misplaced his laptop upon our arrival to Barcelona. Due to our limited Spanish, Laura volunteered to call Madrid and Lisbon’s airports and located the laptop for him! The hotel is located half of a block from the metro and extremely convenient to other attractions. A ten minutes walk to Segrada Familia; 25 minutes walk to downtown area. There is a small convenient store (one block)that sells very inexpensive water, wine, and snacks too. Will definitely come back!
