Excellent location
This hotel met my expectations. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We had a problem with a double booked room, but within a few minutes we were allocated a different room. The peolple at the reception were very helpful. You have an amazing view on the skyline of Manhattan. In the early morning you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise. Manhattan is just one busstop away. Take the bus (158) across the road (just $2.55) and within 15 minutes you are in central Manhattan. From the Busterminal in Manhattan there is a direct connection to Newark Airport (much cheaper than taking the taxi or hotel shuttle) Next to the busstop there several places to have a nice meal (breakfast or diner), good and cheaper than in the hotel.

Perfect in so many ways!
Eric was the clerk who checked us in and gave us such helpful information. In fact, he was the only one who knew the ferry, bus, and train ins and outs. We walked right out the front door and caught the ferry to NYC. Even though we were only on the second floor, our view of the NYC skyline was captivating. We were sad to leave and when we head to the east coast again, we will make a stop at the Sheraton.
Dont bother staying in NYC and paying the high hotel prices there when you can have a wonderful view of the NYC skyline with easy access across the Hudson right outside the front door of the hotel on the ferry that runs every 15 mins or so. The staff is very familiar with the schedules of all the transit systems, and are very helpful.

Value for money location.
Handy location, 6 minute ferry ride to Manhattan & ferry ticket includes bus to central Manhattan, via various routes. Hotel has spacious rooms with good amenities. OK if you leave in the morning and back at night. Not too practical if youre looking for a central hotel and you want to return to your room during the day. Overall quite happy with the location and price as I factored in the cost of the ferry. At night there are no stores within walking distance to buy a snack etc. Hotel has restaurant and a couple of others nearby.
