Parador de Cáceres

Situated in the historic centre, the Parador de Cáceres is a luxury Cáceres hotel with a unique location. The old town's blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance architectural styles and its 30 defensive towers have earned Cáceres recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and make it well worth a visit. There are many museums and churches to see, as well as cave paintings in the nearby Cave of Maltravieso. This luxury Cáceres hotel is located in the historic Torreorgaz Palace , whose foundations date back to the Arab domination of the Iberian peninsula. The present day form of the Parador de Cáceres Hotel is of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. For example, the palace still retains its defensive tower, which was built by a knight of the Order of Santiago. Entering into this period building, you will pass under a Baroque coat of arms and find yourself in a shady internal courtyard. There is also a gourmet restaurant inside where you can try a whole host of Extremaduran dishes, as well as 2 conference suites, which are ideal for every event. Internet access is provided by the hotel's Internet Point.
