Great location - reasonable price
The Days Inn will not be remembered as a great motel in fact it probably wont be memorable at all. However, for the price, I find that perfectly acceptable. It does offer free internet. The room was clean if somewhat dated but as I spent very little time in the room it offered a nice place to sleep.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Days Inn located directly across the bridge from Charleston. Any downtown attraction or restaurant is within a 10 minute drive.

Worst Hotel Ever!
This is the worst stay I ever had. At 7am on Sunday morning, My wife and I were woke by a loud beeping, like a truck backing up. This was from a piece of equimpment workers were using to pressure wash the exterior of the building. It was parked in the handicapped space directly in front of the door to my room. I called the front desk several times, and when I complained, I was put on hold, never to be answered again. Three hours later of constant BEEP BEEP BEEP I checked out, my car was covered in dirt and spray from the hotel. I asked for a car wash from the front desk and the person in charge, "Sherry" told me it wasnt their problem. I asked for the manager and was given a card that rang the front desk, where I was already standing. Never stay here, worst hotel ever. And the internet didnt work either. You would get more sleep in a rest area on the side of the interstate.
Dont stay here. If they were giving out $100 bills and free beer, it still wouldnt be worth it. Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Nothing but sorrow will come from a stay at this pit of horror. Sleep in your car on the curb, youll get more rest.
Comment from the hotel's management
Posted: 16-Jul-09We recently had the hotel pressure washed and painted. The machine they used in order to reach the upper floor did have a warning sound when raising or lowering the machine therefore the crew did not begin work until 9am in the morning as they were instructed. A notice posted at the desk during the period the workers were on the property did request guest to park on the opposite side of the parking lot from the building. Our front desk team, along with the painting company personnel, addressed the concerns about the dirt and debris landing on cars by offering to pay for cleaning at the car wash accross the street from the Days Inn. We also were not aware of any internet issues, had we been informed we would have contacted our internet provider immediately. We have internet passes at the front desk that also has a toll free 800 number listed on the bottm of the card if any guest have an issues during their stay. We apologize for any inconvenience and continue on a daily basis to improve the property and ensure all guest stay are satisfactory.

Convenient location
My husband and I were hotel hopping around Charleston until our housing was approved at the Naval Station nearby. We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the base and downtown sights. Its a quick jump across the bridge and youre in view of Charleston. With all there is to see and do here, this hotel was perfect for us!
