Centrally located, chic, and decently priced, will stay there again.
PROS: Hotel was more centrally located than even the website lead on to believe. 1 block from Moulin Rouge, and the cafe Amélie was filmed, a few blocks from the famous Metro station, a mile away from the amazing Montmartre Cemetery, and a mile from the super charming neighborhood of Montmartre where my brothers fammily restuarant is located. Even though 3 miles from the Eiffel Tower, we had a great view from our bedroom window. Room and bathroom were nicely decorated. Shower is definitely French and may take some getting used to if you take a shower standing up. CON: The website did note the hotels front facade was under construction. To give more detail... the ENTIRE hotel from second floor up to 7th floor was covered with scafolding, and plastic tarps so it was virtually impossible to see out of the rooms unless the tarp was pulled back (view well worth it). May want to wait until construction is finished but the rates will likely be higher. On a lighter note, we stayed Sat and Sun nights, and did not see or hear contruction workers on Monday. Would definitely book hotel stay here again!!

Overpriced
Maybe it has to be overpriced because its really convenient for everything in Paris. Room was small and mediocre for the price. Bathroom spacious and pleasant. Breakfast overpriced as well, so I made some Tunisian friends a few meters up the street. As for the solicitors in the street, just say "non, merci" and they dont really hassle you.
Traveler's tip
French people seem to have evolved. So many are so eager to speak English. I speak French fluently but I dont look like I do so almost everyone started in English.

Really liked it
We arrived late so at first we were a little concerned about the neighborhood. However, we were there for four nights and never had a problem. The room was bigger than we expected( a nice surprise), very clean and the bed comfortable. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but the breakfast room was nice and there was free internet.
