Comfortable hotel with central location
We picked this hotel after reading from other reviews that the hotel is recently renovated. The double room looks and feels new. Bed is comfortable. Room size is decent but the bathroom is a bit small that doesn’t really bother us at all. It is right next to McDonald off the main street. Very convenience for us to walk to nearby sightseeing and restaurants. Metro is about 5-10 minutes walk.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
1) Use the metro for sightseeing. It is not very hard for us to use it since we are used to NY subway. 8 lei (about $2.7) for 10 trips. You can use the same ticket with your friends. 2) Use the airport bus if you travel light. The bus stop is around the Metro station. Only 7 lei ($2.3) for 2 trips. Take about 40 mins from city center to airport. May take longer during the rush hours.
