Not impressed and would never return
This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. As a woman traveling alone and requesting a quiet room, they put me on the ground floor with a door to the outside from the bedroom, and right by the entry to the entire building, but with no patio. I’m not sure why the door was even there in the bedroom. I was really nervous the entire time as I was on the ground floor - and the noise was awful to the point that I could not sleep at all. The hotel refused to move me when I requested it - yet when my friend arrived later, they put her in a room on the 4th floor that was four times the size of mine, much quieter and had the feeling of being very safe. I parked a car and there was no way in & out of the car park other than to walk around to the front desk to ask to be let in. Only upon check out did I learn they were supposed to have given me a remote to get in & out. When the restaurant was asked for hot water for tea at night, they literally yelled, hit the chairs and told my friend to go to the bar to get hot water not the restaurant. Until the last day, when there was finally a wonderful person at the front desk, the staff was uncaring, unmotivated and unhelpful. The room was the size of a pill box, felt unsafe, the hallways were completely dark and the wireless Internet only worked occasionally. The English stations on the TV did not work at all. The only thing the hotel has going for it is that the location isn’t bad - but that is it.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The square in Antibes is a wonderful place to visit, as well as the short walk down to the water in Juan Les Pins. If you are driving, be sure to get detailed directions - it is easy to get lost!
