Basic... but clean.
No frills hotel. I was concerned when we pulled in because it’s one of those hotels where the doors open to outside. It’s just a clean room if you’ve got to stay for one night. The beds were fine. Parking...well, it’s Europe. You kind of get use to never finding parking.

The shower was strange -- but clean. It was a sit down shower. I took a very short shower.

Good Memory
It is a great accomodation in Companile Ghent, the service is great, the lady in front desk is very friendly, and the food is ok. And, importantly, when we stayed there, the weather became nice. Very lucky! I would like to visit again next time if possible.

Incorrect Review
The review "Quaint is OK, however not in extremes" for the hotel Campanile was actually submitted for a different hotel we stayed at during our recent trip. I hope that this review corrects any misconceptions.

Very convenient to public transportation to and from the Gent main train station.
