Try another place
First morning, no hot water; had to use another room. Came back after work and still NO hot water. Had to move me to another room -- a smoking room!

Outstanding service...
Hotel was basic although clean....evening clerks went out of their way to take care of everyones personal needs from extra towels, blankets and always with a smile!

Fix it - don’t polish it
Room was very clean - strong odor of cleaning agents. Toilet seat was broken, toilet was stained and should have been replaced long ago. Door to bathroom had 5 large upper and lower hit/kick holes. Mattress had tears or cuts on the edge, not visible when covered by the sheets. (These were maintenance problems, not cleanliness conditions)
Traveler's tip
Had to travel to a funeral on the same day as the TAX rally. Try not go to DC unless you have previous accommodations or can check in earlier in the day. Find out something about the area you will be staying in.
