Too small
We had booked a King bed studio room with balcony but it turned out the "King bed" was only a request and not a guarantee. So we ended up with a Queen bed and a room that was overall somewhat small and compact. The balcony was a small area off the bedroom with a view of the car park - not quite the lake view that we had inadvertently psyched ourselves up for. Wireless internet connection was sporadic and weak and, when I could connect, it was only by sitting out on the balcony.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Pagosa Hot Springs is a must. Rooms there are more expensive than the Wyndham but if we were going again we’d probably stay there.

Great Hotel/Condo
This was a 1 bedroom condo with kitchen and Murphy wall bed in the living room. it worked out great for my family of four. There is no room service or maid service. Washer and Dryer in unit. Four units shred one hot tub. We were the only ones in it as far as I could tell.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Go see Chimmney Rock with 1000 year old ruins. Train to Silverton is lots of fun. Take the train up and buss back down. Round trip on the traini was 8 hours and 2 hours in silverton. It wasa great but a very long day. If you take the train you can bring food and beverage on board.

Already planning the next trip back!
Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant, except for the Friday afternoon/evening staff at the activities desk. We felt as if we were bothering them. However, the staff on Saturday morning more than made up for it. The am staff were fun, friendly, and very helpful!
