Good place to stay for ammenities but otherwise not impressed.
Extremely small even though it has all of the ammenities we were looking for such as a kitchenette and separate room from the kids. It was quite small but good for what we needed it for and good for the price I suppose. I would have much rather stayed in a hotel room however if it wouldn’t have been for the kitchenette and separate room we wanted. I would by far pick a cabin over any hotel or condo in the area. We have stayed in many of them now and none seem to be well kept up with at all. Cabins are a bit more expensive than most of the places to stay in the area however much better to stay in by far.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Alamo is the best steakhouse in town. A bit expensive however the best steak ever! And don’t forget to go through the motor trail, that is where we saw our bear family at this last time we went!

Great Getaway
This was a condo property and each suite was privately owned but managed by the hotel. Our room was beautiful and clean with a great view of the mountains. The hotel pool was great and the location was great as you could comfortably walk to town. There was some repairs going on above us and the noise was annyoying at times and our jacuzzi leaked badly under the carpet which had happened before from the looks of it.
Traveler's tip
When returning from town take the trolley. The hike up the mountain is difficult and hard to find your way back!
