Not satisfied
Very small room which has no appeal. Difficult to move around because of lack of space. Windows are overlooking the street with constant traffik. Very noisy if you want to sleep with opened windows. No a/c. Was very disappointed. Does not cost the money we paid. The staff however is very friendly and helpful.The location is good in terms of shopping, dining and using public transportation. Still you can make a better choice to find another hotel

Do Not Recommend
When searching hotels, the Westbahn said it had been renovated. Not true. Old and needs updating. Good place to stay only if you’re on a tight budget.

Extremely convenient
I haven’t traveled abroad enough to compare this hotel to others as far as size and amenities. What I can say is this: Location is solid. Just across the street from one of Vienna’s major train stations (I arrived there from Budapest). There’s also a very affordable and frequent bus that has direct service to the airport from the train station. And the hotel really is located just steps from Vienna’s main shopping drag. My room had two twin beds, although I’d asked for one double. Bathroom was quite cozy (but hey, at least it was private, no?) The TV was at a really strange angle vs. the beds, but that’s just quibbling.
