Nice place
Our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory. The location was perfect, close to land transportaion for some side trips we took and close to some very nice local resturants.It was a quiet neighborhood as well. The staff were helpful and congenial. The room was smallish but certaintly adequate.The only short commings were a lack of outside space and no internet service.

Good hotel for a good price
this hotel was nicely located by the train station and the bus terminal which was great because we had an early flight out. The only problem is the way the address shows up on your print out will not help you find the building. I strongly advise you to map it on Google before you go otherwise you will not no the street name that it is located on. If you are staying on the 4th floor the elevator only reaches the 3rd so you will have to take the stairs the rest of the way. hotel rooms are not as nice as the pics show. Staff was good, however they do not speak good English. There is a slight smell to the room. If you are picky it will bother you. Breakfast was okay, i would say average. Room size was good. This was a good budget hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
There is a great little restaurant on the Grand by the Hotel Carlton Grand Canal. You’ll know it by the wood bench seating and that the place is on the corner next to an overpass. The food is delicious as the cook makes everything from hand. A little pricey but worth it.

Good hotel, but too pricey for such small rooms...
We enjoyed our brief stay at the Carlton Capri Hotel. The rooms were tiny! Not as centrally located to the Maritime Port as stated, but just a short walk from both the train station and bus depot. The service was excellent, but still felt the hotel was a bit overpriced.
