Nice clean hotel in a residential district
The Rosedale Hotel is a clean, quiet, and efficient hotel. It is in an area which I am very familiar. There is shopping, health spas and restaurants in walking distance. The only strange thing is that if you want your windows opened, they make you sign a "waiver of liability" in case you fall out of the window. China is most exciting.

Traveler's tip on shopping
The shopping is excellent in Beijing. However, it does take some patience and shopping skills to get the best price. Easy access to the Pearl Market, Silk Market, etc. from hotel ( by taxis)for less than $ 5.00 each way.

GOOD HOTEL
I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE ROSEDALE. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.....THE BUFFET HOWEVER WAS NOT SO GOOD, BUT, THERE ARE GREAT RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA.
