Nice clean hotel in a great location
I stayed here on the first night of my visit to the lovely city of Prague. For the price, the hotel room was nice, clean and spacious. The best part of the hotel is the great location as it is literally a couple of blocks away from the IP Pavlova train station as well as the train line. The old town (Stare Mesto) is a short 10 minute walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking value and location. The only downside was the erratic nature of the Wifi connection at the hotel.

Safety issues & terrible services
I was concerned about my safety during the 3-night stay in the hotel and the staff was not helpful. I was staying in a room on the top floors where the windows are on the roof. The room, in fact, is located in the building two doors from the reception. The building is not completely the hotel. Only some rooms are party of the hotel. Some rooms in the building look like apartment or offices. At midnight, I head some noise which sounded like some people working on the roof and talking. I felt like people could easily climb into the room. I was asking the staff if they could help me with that. They were very rude and not helpful. Here are some comments they made about my concern -- "It is not possible." "I don’t believe you." "This is not America." "You are a liar." "You are lying." "Nothing is safe for you." "If you are alive now, it will be okay for you to stay there tonight." When I asked about the number of the police in case I need to call (the receptionist is not available most of the time). They were reluctant to give the number to me and said -- "They don’t speak English. They won’t understand you." I ended up staying in the same hotel room and checked out very early the next day. In addition, the room was not clean. I had some bug bites on the legs and my arms. It was listed as a 3-star hotel. But If I were you, I would stay away from this hotel.

Unspectacular but solid and clean
A very solid 3 star hotel. No frills or extras here, but a good place to rest your head after a day of wandering about Prague. Good points: *Pretty clean overall, especially bathroom *Great location--3 minute walk to subway, 5 minutes to trams, 15 minute walk to Wenceslas square (where there are a lot of restaurants) *Staff is efficient (they don’t smile much, but they get the job done) *You can leave your luggage in the office if the checkout time is way earlier than when you’re scheduled to leave. Could’ve Been Better *Pillows were very flat (I had to stick 2 in one pillowcase) *TV is small and only has several English channels (news and some lame horror channel) *No shampoo (they have soap though) *Outside noises in the morning on some days
