Well worth it

This is not some fancy Resort but it is nice, quaint and in the middle of everything. It also helps that there is a great Italian joint in the atrium. I would definitely stay there again.

Simple, clean but old

Siesta Suites is located in Cabo within walking distance to night spots, the wharf and other larger hotels. The restaurant next door offers great Italian food. The aroma that drifts over to your room will encourage you to eat there. Around the corner is a great breakfast place, Mama’s. The lobby of the hotel does offer coffee to the guests in the morning. This is not a fancy hotel. It is was great for us - double bed, full size couch for someone to sleep on, small table and chairs, refrigerator, a few dishes, microwave, a shower, no bathtub. The resident cat to a liking to us and slept outside our door. I’d stay there again.

Very nice hotel

This hotel is definitely worth the price. Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. Every time we had a concern or needed help, they were ready to assist us. The suite itself was small but clean and comfortable. Perfect for those who don’t plan to spend too much time in their rooms. The only thing that I did not like was the entrance door to the room. It’s actually a glass sliding door, but you can latch it from inside and we felt secure when we were there. You can’t beat the location, close to everything.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Exchange U.S. dollars to Mexican pesos at a legitimate place! Dollars are accepted everywhere, but they give your change in pesos at a lower rate. If you start with pesos, your money lasts longer and you won’t get cheated out of your money. I wish we had done that when we just got there!

The best value for the price

The room and the hotel overall was clean. The staff are nice and friendly (good service). One of the things I liked about this hotel was the nice Mexican style of the hotel and the suites. The only thing I didn’t liked about the hotel was the front door rooms were kind of unsecured because there were glass sliding doors.

Traveler's tip

At night the area around the hotel is very dark and it is hard top find a place to eat. Beware: Two doors next to this hotel there’s another hotel with similar name. The difference is only for one single word and the other hotel has has much less quality.

Sweet boutique hotel!

loved the location of this hotel, so close to the marina, and the friendliness of the staff was great! loved the proximity of lots of places to eat nearby, just loved everything. It’s a small place, not lavish, but cute, good for people who dont want to stay in the resorts.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

eat at crazy lobster for some good cheap food, and also at Taco Loco near Cabo Wabo. Everything is very expensive in Cabo! if you want cheaper souveneirs, go to the mall not the street vendors, and definately spend the money on the brazillian restaurant next door to Siesta Suites, it’s WORTH IT!

Great location and price

This hotel is perfect for Cabo. Can’t beat the price. The bed has been upgraded with a pad that is so much more comfortable than the last time I was here, 2 years ago. Everything is within walking distance and the restaurant downstairs is a great reasonably priced place. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good Value

Good Value on the heart of Cabo. Busy restaurant in courtyard makes pool unusable. Kitchen facilities adequate.

Great location. Good cheap place to stay

The hotel was very centrally located to everything. It was in the center of a bunch of great places to eat and the marina was a 5 min. walk and from there you can catch a boat taxi to the beaches. As for the hotel itself the rooms were always clean and in good condition. If you are into 5 star resorts with all the amenities this probably isn’t your place, but considering that you probably won’t be in your room too much in Cabo anyway, this hotel is an excellent deal.

Noisy room in Cabo

We found some amazingly beautiful and peaceful places in Baja California del Sur. Why would anyone want to stay in crowded, sleazy Cabo San Lucas? Our room was fine, the price was right, but the restaurant below was loud until late. The food at Salvatore’s was great (Italian), but we didn’t sleep much with the noise of its patrons.

Nice little In Town Stay

Siesta Suites is a nice little down town hotel. In close walking distance to all the night spots. One block from the Habor so it’s easy to get on a water taxi or a fishing boat. The pool is not much but enough to cool you down when the heat is on. We found the staff and the room very pleasent and clean. The Italian restaurant in the court yard is the best!

Traveler's tip on nightlife

In close walking distance to all the night spots.

Great Location

Hotel is locate in downtown Cabo a short walk to the Marina and ALL party spots. Cabo Wabo is just up the street two blocks. The beds are not very comforable for big guys. Great Italian Restruant in same court yard, a must try!

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Centrally located for all bars and parties spots. No need for cab rides here. Everything is within walking.

Great Hotel

This was our second stay at Siesta , we love the place. We are in our late 60s we come to fish and relax. we dont need a baloncy overlooking the ocean or a disco bar.The enclosed resturant "Sabatinies" is out of this world. If you are looking for a no frills affordable hotel room that is clean, quiet, affordable and within 5 min of marina, and downtone then this is the place. Don

Not impressed

The room air conditioner did not work and it was around 100 degrees. The mattress on the beds were in poor condition. They left the windows opened and bugs got in the room.

Perfect if you’re on a budget!

This is a clean and friendly hotel for the money. It is famiily run and they are really lovely people. It is very clean and well-appointed for being so cheap.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

There’s a Costco there, so stock up and save.

Perfect place to spend our first night

You aren’t in a luxury resort on the beach, but if you want a clean room with a kitchen in a great location, this place is a hidden treasure. The family that runs this place is adorable as well. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Traveler's tip on dining

Try the Italian restaurant next door- very nice.

Great Location

Right in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, within walking distance to almost all of the major downtown restaurants, club and marina. Staff was very helpful. This is a cheap hotel, so don’t expect luxuries - but it was adequate and clean. The weird thing is that there is an Italian restaurant surrounding the pool, so you can soak up the sun and garlic smells at the same time.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you aren’t looking to be pandered, this hotel has good clean rooms and is centrally located at low prices.

Just right for us

If your wife/girlfriend wears Manolo shoes, this probably isn’t the place for you. But this little jewel is right downtown but quiet. And, the best Italian food in town is next door with a cool bar.

Great Price, Close to everything

Hotel is only 1 block from the marina and Cabo Wabo. That 1 block saves you $$$. Great place to stay if you’re NOT into the overpriced resorts.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you want to be close enough to walk to everything in town, skip the rental car, take the shuttle from the airport and stay here.

Very Impressed

The hotel was located in the middle of town, near all the great nightlife! Close enough to take a water taxi for $3.00 to the beach. Very clean! Loved it!

Loved the Location

We just came back from out vacation to Cabo. We had a great time. We loved the charm and character of our hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We really liked how they locked the gate at night, it made us feel safe. We absoultelt loved the italian restuarant downstairs at the hotel called Salvatore’s. It has amazing food and wonderful employees! We met a lot of really nice locals that told us the ins and outs of Cabo and because of the people we met we ate at many good and afordable places. I highly recommend The Crazy Lobster for breakfast. You can get eggs, bacon, and hash browns for $3.00!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There were many wonderful places to visit in Cabo. We liked Love Shack, the Jungle BAr and Rips! We loved Lovers Beach, it was absolutely beautiful! The Zip lines and the Atv tours were great Beware of going to stands on the street to buy your excursions because they are Time shares!!!!!

Very Enjoyable Stay

The hotel is in a great downtown location with a friendly staff willing to help with arranging other activities. I walked to restaurants, shopping, and the marina area. The room is clean, comfortable, and up to date.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

I was surprised by the local shops and restaurants not taking credit cards. They take US dollars but round the exchange rate to 10 to 1. So exchange you money to pesos. Also, hesistate before entering the restaurant or buying in a shop, negotiate a free desert or beer before entering, and have fun.

Can’t wait to visit Cabo again

This was a great place to stay in Cabo. Right in the middle of downtown. Around the corner from Cabo Wabo and a short walk to the marina. The service was great and helped us a lot in knowing different areas around town. There is a church next door that gets a little loud with music on Sunday night but it just added to the experience. We never had to take a cab anywhere as everything we needed was right in the area. We will for sure stay in this hotel again when we go back to Cabo.

Traveler's tip on dining

As i had visited different parts of Mexico this was probably the most expensive place in Mexico when it came to food. I was shocked at the price of food at some places in Cabo. Some places $10 to $15+ USD a plate. There were some decent priced restaurants but you had to ask and look around. Other then that we loved our stay and will probably be back again sometime.
