Charming, with a great location
I recently stayed at the College Club for 2 nights with my teenage daughter. We arrived early and received a lovely greeting, complete with an offer to hold our bags and a place to park for a very nominal fee. I was a bit nervous about what I had read about a lack of staff, but really anytime we needed someone there was a staff member to help us. It was a great experience, like being a guest in someones historic home. The room was quite large, with a bay window overlooking Commonwealth. The location was great for shopping and jumping on the T. Breakfast and sweets through the day were terrific.
Traveler's tip on dining
Eating breakfast or lunch at the Paramount on Charles Street is a must do. The Fine Arts Museum is a great rainy day activity.

we found a gem in the city!
Great location and great value. We will stay at this hotel from now on. We loved how big the room was--filed with charming antiques.
