Great place to spend the night
We spend one night in the hotel as we were touring Ireland by Car. The hotel was quite, very clean and good value for the money. we booked a family room and received a corner room wioth planty of windows and room for all 4 of us (2 adults 2 teenagers) not much else to do in the hotel - but the town of Bray was great and it is a good stop on the road if you are looking to spend time at Powerscourt. The only issue with the hotel was the staff - did not find them very helpful (in fact waited 15 minutes by the front desk before someone came out to check us in)But if you can overlook 10-15 minutes of interaction with the staff like we did- it is a nice place to spend the night.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The clifside trail from Bray to Graystone was amasing and a short walk from the hotel. It is about 8 miles trail (Graystone and back) and clearly was one of the highlights of our trip

Excellent Location
This hotel is in an excellent location for a stay in Ireland -- only about 30 minutes by DART (rapid transit) and maybe 45 minutes by car to Dublin. Bray is a quaint town on the Irish Sea with a beach, beautiful views of the mountains, and a spectacular cliff walk and mountain path to the top of Bray Head. The hotel has a nice bar menu thats available starting around lunch time thats served in the lobby at nicely arranged seating areas around a large, flat screen TV. We also had live entertainment one night -- some traditional Irish music. The restaurant wasnt open most evenings during the week as there apparently werent enough guests, but the bar menu is fine if you want to eat in rather than eat out.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
A good tip -- stop in at the Bray Tourism Center. They have everything you need to plan your activities while youre in Ireland.

Very Nice Hotel
A great place to stay when traveling near Dublin. It was very easy to get into the city, and yet when the day was over we could relax in a quiet Hotel outside the City.
