good only for sleeping. nothing to brag about

the room had recenty been overdone it seemed. no coffee pot, no hairdryer, no iron, no frig, no microwave, no security locks on door. for budget purposes it will do. if you want "luxury" don’t do it, if just a place to sleep it is okay. no pool and nothing close to eat. can drive to eat and shop in a few minutes.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

go to page and float down colorado river at glen canyon. go to wiiliams--end of traditional Route 66--neat back it time stuff. of course the grand canyon. as far as trip from south carolina it was well worth it.

For just sleeping there, cheapest one available.

Hotel was fine. Not fancy, no luxuries. Simply a bed and a TV with cable. Just wanted the basics at the cheapest price and this was the place. Beds were a little on the hard side. Trains in Flagstaff are hard to avoid. Most hotels are right on 66 which is parallel to the tracks.

Would not stay there again

There was nothing in the room except a bed, one towell each for myself and my wife, only one hand-towell, one wash rag, one roll of toilet tissue. No coffey-maker-no hair dryer, no refrigerator, no microwave, not mu ch of anything.

You get what you pay for

We stayed there for two nights. The hotel is situated next to a busy road, with trains passing and blowing the horn each 5-10 minutes. My kid loved it. The bed was OK, but creaky, and the room was clean but sober; no microwave, no fridge and a TV with 10 channels. Since we were three, I asked for an extra towel, and got it straight away; very friendly staff. So, in the end you get what you pay for, a cheap hotel with some shortcomings, but a good place to stay.

Beware of the trains!

This hotel was on the east sid eof town where there is a lot of railroad traffic. All through the night the trains went through blowwing there whistles three times. Thus no sleep.

Not a great night’s sleep.

The beds were hard, and the hotel is right next to the train tracks, so we heard the train throughout the night.

Luxury, It’s Not

The Luxury Inn was Very Clean. We were there for two days. The maid never came to bring us fresh towels or make our bed. Later in the day I went to the front office to pick up fresh towels.

Never Again

My family and I were wanting to get away for the weekend and figured a hotel with "luxury" in it’s title, that it wouldn’t be a bad place to stay. WRONG! It had paper thin walls, dirty, old rooms and to top things off; it was next to an active railroad with trains passing every half-hour. It was the worst night sleep, we have ever gotten.

Avoid this one

The hotel is very close to the train tracks, with train horns blowing all night long to keep you awake. The beds are rock hard, though some people might like that. The walls are very thin, and if you’re next door to anyone with small kids, be prepared for them to wake you up whenever they wake their parents up. There are very few amenities, the TV is tiny and cable reception poor, and the staff is fairly clueless about everything in the area.

Traveler's tip on dining

Hit the Beaver Street Brewery, located downtown off Business Route 40 on Beaver Street (take a left over the train tracks). It’s got great microbrews, a lively atmosphere, and pretty good food.

dont go there if you need to rest

its more like a motel than a regular inn. there is no lobby. they didnt have key cards, but only regular keys. no refrigerator in the room. the bathroom needs some cleaning and the blanket has weird stink. the railway was restless for the whole night right outside. we are glad that we just stayed there for only one night. Not as "luxury" as it claims.

Not even worth fifty dollars.

Our stay at this inn was fine until we opened our bed just before going to sleep. We noticed some stains on the sheets (two of them) and one on the blanket. There is no shampoo provided in the inn, and the soap is probably colored water. The train traffic is really intense, and will not let you sleep if you are a light sleeper. The air conditioner does not work either. Upon check-out, no one was available to speak with, very low customer service.
