Pleasant Surprice!
Erboy is the perfect location for sightseeing in Istanbul. Close to transportation, walking distance of Tokapki Museum, Haya Sofia, Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Rooms European style, but adecuate and clean. Free internet computers in lobby, excellent buffett breakfast. Two very good restaurants in premises. The roof restaurant only open in the evening with spectacular views of Topkapi Museum, Haya Sophia and the bridge that connects European and Asian Istanbul all light up at night and good food. Turkish wine and beer very good. Air conditioning was not good, but hotel eager to please. Would definitely return to Erboy and to Istanbul.

Will definitely go back!
The Erboy Hotel is phenomenal in terms of location, service, food and cleanliness. The only reason I put just a 4 for room comfort is size. All of the rooms are small, some a bit smaller than others. We stayed at the Erboy three times over a period of a month, so I have had all shapes and sizes. We didn’t spend much time there, so it was not a concern, just for those who need space, you should know. The staff is exceptional and fun to boot. The location, in the heart of Sultanhamet, and a very short walk from the Gulhane tram station, is great! The hotel is linked to the Orient Express Hotel (4 star) and the Sirkeci Konak (5 star), so if you feel like having a night in, between the three hotels you have 4 superb restaurants to choose from, one at street level and three roof top. Will definitely recommend the hotel to anyone I know going to Istanbul.

Great Value for Money
Right in the middle of everything. Rooms are basic. Breakfast is sumptuous. Restaurant was very good. Must try their Kebabs with yogurt (forget the name).
