Most Comfortable Bed
Very modern and angled. Throw pillows on bed were dirty. Parking is pricey on top of the already lofty cost. Excellent location and within a stones throw to mostly everything...restaurants, shopping, people watching, traditional pubs. Noise from underground club below can be loud depending on location of your room. Loved the complimentary umbrellas and literally the most comfortable bed we had during our 11 day trek through Ireland. Water takes a while to warm up in the bathroom. Not a traditional Irish experience; staff is international. Good breakfasts.
There is far better ambiance at restaurants and bars/pubs in the city than what you can find within the hotel. Get out and take advantage. Pack warm. Of all the land we saw and cities we visited in Ireland, Dublin was the windiest, rainiest, and bar far the coldest! If youre looking for a down-scaled, home style dinner one night to keep you warm we recommend ONeills Pub. Large menu with fresh carved meats and warm, traditional stews. Staff is excellent, decor is entertaining and homey, and youre mostly surrounded by a mature, local crowd. Stay for the quaint live music.
