This was a good value with retaurants nearby.
The hotle was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There were several restaurants nearby.

Recommend staying in hotel
The hotel is very close and convienant to I-77/I-81 even though you can hear some of the truck noise.The hotel is clean,the staff very friendly and helpful and the rates are reasonable.The breakfeast area in the hotel is small and crowded in the mornings.We reserved two rooms and our family would stay there aagain.

Bed was very uncomfortable and WiFi cut out many times. I guess you get what you pay for. Price was good.

Just Passing Through
We stopped here for only one night on a road trip across country. I’ve stayed at other Days Inn Hotels and the smoking rooms haven’t smelled this bad in a single one. I’m a smoker and it hit me in the face when I walked in. The beds were completely out of shape and I felt like my feet were in the air and my head hanging down all night long. I woke up tired and grumpy and would never stay there again. If you decide to stay here anyway, and are a smoker, opt for a non-smoking room and then step outside when you need a puff.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Chinese Restaurant is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel - but the staff is horribly rude and the food wasn’t that great. The Shoney’s was WONDERFUL. It’s about the same distance.

My only negative was that the toilet kept running, which I fixed myself. A new plug and handle wouldn’t hurt.

During this trip I found out, after the fact, that on the two hotel uses I had I would have paid less if I had made the reservation directly through the hotels.

BEST ROOM IN A LONG TIME
I stay in hotels about 100 to 125 days a year. This Days Inn was very clean and was priced much more reasonably than many other hotels in other cities around Virginia.

Room was a bit worn but clean, and free breakfast was worth eating.

Easy access to Interstate. A good exit for a less expensive gas fill-up.

OK for an overnight stay will traveling
Air conditioner was very loud and made a rattling noise. Room could have been cleaner. There were food wrappers left under the bed.
