I;ll stay there again
The Claremont Motor Lodge is quite a modest place to stay. Because it is near a stream it does have a bit of mildew smell that is fine after airing out the room for ten minutes or so. The room was quite clean. It had a micro wave and fridge. The beds were comfortable though no down pillows or coverlets. The managers were quite nice. The place filled up on the night we were there. The outside will look better when siding covers the pink weather proofing sheeting.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try Sophie and Zeke’s to eat. Really great and quite affordable especially with the modest hotel price of the Claremont Motor Lodge. We enjoyed the Courthouse restaurant for buffet brunch on Sunday.
