Pleasant surprise
The Harbour Plaza was huge and modern (32 floors, we stayed in the 22nd). The lobby staff speaks English well enough, was very friedly and extremely helpful. They stored our luggage after the check-out time, too. It has a restaurant and bar. The food was more traditional chinese then in American or European hotel chains. (No burger or chicken sandwich here.) The location is in the Center of the City. There is even an indoor connection to a modern shopping mall. The rooms were not fancy by any means, but quite large with comfortable king-size beds. And: they were absolutely quiet. The hotel probably has a lot more to offer; I’m sure there is a swimming pool and a fitness room. But we stayed only one night and we didn’t check it out.
