perfect place in Bangalore
I was not sure waht I woiuld find. I was very pleasantly surprised. The location, facilities, food, rooms were all excellent. Great service. Room service is fabulous. Coffee and tea arrive piping hot. Easy to get into town from the hotel. They do have tight security - check of car when you enter, barriers etc. Perfect place to stay if visisting Bangalore. Easy to get to the airport also.

Lalit Ashok - An Excellent Experience!
Stayed at the Lalit Ashok in Bangalore for 3 nights in two stays. Both rooms were beautifully appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and service as great. The 24/7 restaurant had excellent breakfasts.

What a pleasure!
We happily stayed in this hotel in 1980, and it is now a new and more beautiful place. This service is beyond belief, and the buffets and restaurant food is Indian gourmet. Workout room and Yoga room excellent! The pool was a little too exposed to the restaurant view for comfortable swimming. For kids it is fine, but for 2 single ladies in a modest society it was a bit too much.
