Far from the sanctuaries
This os one of the farthest hotels from the sanctuaries. After walking the 20-25 minutes and reached the sanctuary (tourist) area, we discovered that there were a ton of hotels within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the entrance to the sanctuaries. I mean tons of them. I suggest booking with one of those instead. On average, we would leave the sanctuary area around midnight (we would leave earlier but would stop at a cafe before going home) and we would be the only ones walking home en route back to the hotel. If you would rather not walk, it’s about 10-15 Euro to take a taxi and you would wait a while. There is no shuttle to and from the sanctuaries. This hotel caters to guests with cars since there are parking spaces outside of each room, like you would find in hotels next to freeways in the middle of nowhere on long road trips in the US. Accomodations were fine but again the distance was the problem.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Book a hotel closer to the sanctuaries. There are tons of them within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the sanctuary entrance next to restaurants and souveneir shops. It’s a more welcoming and enjoyable environment. I suggest spending a bit more money since that will end up being cab fare anyway, unless you feel like walking 25 minutes by yourself since the hotel is so far away. And also, the wait for a taxi can be long.
