ONly problem is no pool or fitness center
this was a nice hotel and I would go back, the only problem is that the pool and fitness centre is still being constructed and we were not informed on this neither from their website nor at check-in

Nice Place in Halifax
Room was clean and overlooked the lake. The free Wi-Fi worked fine. There was a refrigerator in the room which we always like.

A West Halifax Inn
This hotel was above-average in quality. But they were doing construction while we were there and parking spaces were limited. The lighting of the entrance to the hotel is poor; especially in the rain. The restaurant was above average. Weekday travel to downtown Halifax (about 8 km) during the morning rush hours is slow!! It took us over an hour to make this trip.
Traveler's tip on dining
Seafood at the downtown restaurants is excellent, cooked to perfection.
