Wonderful for the money

Great hotel for the money! We stayed in an updated villa, it was very lovley. Nice bedding, nice T.V.’s, furniture, etc. Also we really liked all of the trails and the pool. This resort is very family friendly. The location is good too, it’s within just a few miles of beautiful beaches and restaurants.

Celebrity Resorts isn’t persay, a hotel.....it’s much more. We went to Palm Coast with thoughts of relocating there. Our flight left Pittsburgh at 5:40 am and last minute we had to bring our 8 year old son, therefore, we didn’t get to go to bed the night before our flight..we had to change planes in Atlanta so we didn’t reach Daytona until a bit after 10 a.m. We went directly to Celebrity Resorts even though we knew check-in was at 4 p.m. The staff was very nice and was able to get us into our room at 11! I was so pleased that we were able to settle in as I think I forgot to mention we arrived on Monday and our flight home was 7 am on Wednesday...not a lot of time to aquaint ourselves with Palm Coast...and those hours we were able to check-in early were a big deal to us! The staff was extremely nice and friendly telling us all they could about the city and offered to meet with us again if we wished. The ’room’, which I call a condo, was very spacious...more than I expected. We had a kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (the master was huge!) and washer/dryer. There was nothing I needed that wasn’t already there(2 hair dryers, coffee pot, LOT of towels (after 3 people showering for days there were still towels left!) The office also had games/puzzles that my son was able bring back to our room and play. The pool was beautiful. We stayed June 1st - June 3rd 2009. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Whether you’re in Palm Coast for business or pleasure, make sure to visit Flagler Beach....and a small shop directly on 1A.....forget the name but it has a huge pirate character outside and a sweet lady inside that owns it. A nice place to stop!

Didn’t want to leave.

We arrived after regular check-in hours, so it took a few minutes to get the key, but it was no big deal. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite. It was immaculate and huge. The view from the deck was gorgeous. The master bath was luxurious with a jacuzzi. There were 3 TVs that weren’t difficult to work. The kitchen had everything we needed - but we were only there one night. Although perfectly pleasant, there was just a little bit of "age" on the decor. But I read that they are updating the units. I really hated to leave - could have sat on that deck for days!!

Incredible deal!

We got to this hotel after a week at Disney feeling tired both physically and mentally. We didn’t know what to expect, but were extremely surprised to find a giant villa that more than fit our needs. The Master Bedroom is huge, the porch is screened in and perfect size for our son to play with his cars while we have coffee in the morning. Our villa overlooked the pool, which made it feel like we were at home in our backyard. After a trip to Disney, this is the PERFECT spot to come and wind down before returning home.

A little out of date, but nice

The rooms are time shares, so there is no maid service unless you pay $40 per time for a room cleaning, but we kept up with the cleaning so it wasn’t a problem. The room had a washer/dryer so we could clean our dirty clothes and towels. The overall appearance is nice but is outdated. For the money i thought it was a great deal. We had two bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with the master bath having a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Full kitchen with appliances and utensils needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner with no problems. The pool was nice. Great for families with kids. Game room only has 4 games and you pay for them. You can rent bicycles to ride around in, which was nice. Palm Coast is beautiful anyway. We were about 10 minutes from Hammoc beach, a public beach with white sand and hardly anyone on it. A definite must go to for anyone. Overall a good value, just needs updating.

Traveler's tip on dining

There is a group of restaurants nearby, 10 min walk, called European Village. We walked there for breakfast or lunch and it was excellent. A definite must try.

Can’t wait to go back

This was an excellent place to stay and the price was excellent as well. We all loved it. The surrounding area is small and there isn’t much to do if you are looking for that. But if you just want to relax and go to the beach or just hang out by the pool at the hotel for a couple of days this is the place. Loved It!!!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you have kids and are looking for an inexpensive place to go and not the theme parks, this is the place. Great pool, lots of acitivities at the hotel and the beach is 10 minutes away.

Great value & Great Pool

The pool is great. Very clean and plenty warm. The staff is very friendly and willing to help any way they can to make your stay a good one. While some reviews have downgraded this resort because it is not in brand-new condition, our unit was in no way dirty or run-down. We stayed a whole week and had a good time.

comfy condo in pretty setting

the directions to the complex given by the management company were not good and they did not seem to be familiar with the area so it took some time to find. the inside looks like it could use a bit of fresh paint, otherwise, much nicer than expected. i dont think there are hotel services.

Fellow Travlers beware

Twenty years ago, I suspect this resort was very nice, not the case now. Peeling paint, cracks in the wall, wet carpet, roaches...beds felt like a trampoline, suite smelt like mold. I will never return and do not recommed this resort at all!

Very nice

Great place to stay to Visit S. Augustine, much more inexpensive than expected, great bang for the buck. Staff was phenominal, we were stranded due to loss of our car, and they had staff provide us transportation to the airport at Daytona. That is above and beyond the service I have ever experienced anywhere.

Many activities at the resort. Excellent view from your room. Big rooms with anything your heart desires.

Nice and Friendly

This is a nice hotel to stay if you are visiting the Universal Park. Just be prepared to be surrounded by many people at all times, it was very busy when we visited. The complimentary express park passes were wonderful. Satff was helpfull and friendly and made our family of 6 vacation comfortable.
