Reasonable price nice place to stay
Shares the beach with the Banyan Tree with a nice pool, comfortable rooms and good room rate (though the meals and beverages are a bit pricey). The service was good, the people were friendly and attentive. Good alternative to Bintan Lagoon Resort which is basically a dump and if you don’t want to pay $350 a night at the Banyan Tree.

Excellent hotel
This was our first time to Bintan and we were quite impressed by the Angsana Resort. The price was good and the facilities were excellent. The private beach was lovely and the pool was great (although somewhat small). The hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful. I believe all rooms have a partial ocean view (although ours was mostly blocked by palm trees). Lots of mosquitoes at night, though. During the day, large monitor lizards walk around the hotel grounds. A great place to bring children, too (there were many young families staying at the hotel). I would definitely go back.
Traveler's tip on dining
All the restaurants charge guests in U.S. dollars. We brought Singapore dollars and the hotel had to convert it into U.S. dollars for each transaction.
