Disappointed
After they placed us in a room next to the elivator with a window that overlooks a roof covered in trash, I realized that the floors were uneven and loud. The door to that room had about a 1" gap under it so you could hear everything going on in that hall. The bed litterally shook when someone walked by. Not up to usual Hilton standards. I asked to be moved and was given a room half the size of the "loud room" with a bathroom door that wouldn’t open all the way without hitting the bed, and a window that looked out at a plain brick wall 5 feet away.

Great old building.
Very convenient to local attractions and convention buildings. Lots of good eating at the hotel and all around the hotel.

Great location
The hotel is centrally located among the city’s many attractions; Laclede’s Landing, Edward jones dome, Busch stadium, city museum and the arch are all within walking distance.

Must visit the landing for a variety of nightclub atmospheres, a selection of cuisines, and varying types of entertainment.
