Old school charm
This hotel is old; it’s a traditional German guesthouse. However, it was incredibly clean and nicely maintained. Certainly was not as comfortable as a newer hotel (single bed, less than perfect shower), but I was more than satisfied. The free breakfast was good- a traditional German breakfast, with a lot of choice given the size of the hotel. The internet worked but was slow.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The tram/train/bus weekticket (wokenkarte) was very good value and even covered the trains to/from the airport.
