No better location for the price.

Just okay.

I would rate this motel as just okay. Something kind of sleezy about it. On the other hand, it was a short walk to the beach and to downtown. It’s near a bar that let out about 2 am and was very noisy for awhile.

Adequate

Nice location for the hotel, but the bed was very hard. We like the noise restrictions at 10:00 p.m.

Not impressed

The hotel is like a motel 6, it is really old and though "remolded" the rooms are like just that, old rooms that they tried to fix up. The one major thing this hotel has going for it is that it is literally a 1/2 block form the beach.

Would not go back

Have stayed there many times in the past. Much worse than I remembered. No place to hang clothing. Had to use the towel rack in the bathroom. Felt like the bedding was not very clean.

just the minimum needed to exist. I had to charge my cellphone in the bathrooom because there were no other free sockets..just an example.

LOCATION!!!

Older motel, clean, one block to beachand one block to really good food. Short drive to other beaches and places to eat. I will use this place again.

Location, location, location

The only redeeming virtue of this hotel is that it is located just around the corner from downtown Pismo Beach and walking distance to the ocean. You can park in their parking lot and walk to just about any place in the main downtown area and the beach. It is an older hotel and the rooms are very basic, but did appear clean.

Right in the center of Pismo Beach!

This place is exactly what you want in a beach hotel. Nothing fancy, newly remodeled, clean room and a very comfortable bed. The one thing about this place is its location CAN’T BE BEAT! Once you get there you will not have to drive to do any beach stuff as it is all right outside your room, literally 100 yards to beach.

Great place for families

Perfect destination for any family. Friendly staff and indoor pool was great. Hotel is a short walk to a variety of kid friendly restaurants and a play area at the beach. New favorite hotel!

Cinnamon roll shop across the street was perfect for breakfast; don’t forget to ask them to warm your food otherwise it will be served cool.

It was better than we expected for the price and location. The room was neat and clean. the bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect if you want to go to the beach!

not what i expected for the price

I think that the rooms could of been alot more nicer and comfortable. I was not happy with the restroom at all especially the shower.

Cheap but worth the location

Plus side - We loved being able to walk down to the beach, pier and Splas Cafe. Bad side - Our room had some problems with the electricity and the bathroom, and it was very small. Overall - Worth the price for the location and minor discomforts.

Great hotel, would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was everything it promised! We arrived early and were able to check in immediately the front desk people were most helpful! The room was clean, the bedsspreads were worn, but clean and the towels were GREAT! We were close enough to walk to the beach and the wharf where we saw a beautiful sunset. There were several choices for eating and shopping. Would definitely stay there again!

Best Location in Pismo

Just stayed in December. The front desk and staff is very welcoming. They even have dessert when you arrive and coffee served all day. The breakfast selection is just great from cereal to yogurt, fruit and even bagels and cream cheese. My kids enjoyed the pool. It was a cold day but a warm pool. The location is the best right behind our favorite place Brad’s and Splash Cafe. The rooms are very nice and the Bed Spread are so Nice they are fancy and make the room really nice. I plan to bring my family back again and again.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

If are a shopper or want to eat or even rest after riding in the dunes this is the spot for you. 1/2 a block from everything and no crowds around the hotel.

Great value!

I stayed with a couple of friends here for one night, the room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and restaurants, the breakfast muffins were fresh, and the staff very friendly. It is not a fancy hotel by any means, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room to sleep for a night, I’d recommend it in a heart beat.

Great location

Wonderful location and great service. Hotel is simple with few frills, but the location to the beach and shops was perfect. Nice staff, clean property, and very comfortable rooms.

Be aware, in Pismo Beach most (if not all) of the restaurants close at 9pm (8pm on Sunday). Dont plan on a late dinner!!

Great location

This hotel has a great location within a few hundred feet of the beach. Close to the pier and the best local eateries. Check out the Honeymoon Cafe for breakfast and the Splash Cafe for lunch. Indoor swimming pool looked pretty neat. Definitely will stay at this hotel again next time I’m in Pismo.

Bargain hot-spot in Pismo

1/2 block from all the fun in Pismo and the pier. Its your basic Motel so you should not expect 5 star amenities. Ocean Breeze was very clean, convenient, nice room,bathroom, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet. Good local restaurants, bars and fun shops. A real bargain at a great location

Watch Out

Do not stay here! Very low budget-I thought since it was Pismo Beach it would be better! In fact, I checked out when I returned back from my business meeting. Hotel did not seem safe. They are remodeling; however, that isn’t the problem. Lighting was minimal outside hotel and the place was scary with people hanging out in parking lot.

Very Scary Place

The hotel was not lit by my room and there was only one other car in the parking lot. People were hanging out in the parking lot as I walked back to my room at night and the lighting was absolutely terrible. I ended up checking out that night and going to another hotel. The room was old and not clean.

ill think thrice coming back

the exterior looks cheap. the room was decent, clean and comfortable enough but there was no airconditioning..there was a very very loud noise outside that started at maybe 3 or 4 am and goes on for maybe 15 minutes and stops and then when you thought you finally get your sleep, then the loud noise comes back again, and again until the sun came up...i think i paid too much for this room...
