Definitely good place to stay
The staff was extremely friendly. The location of the hotel is very good if you are going to travel on foot. The metro station is very close (5 min. walk). There is a tram station right in front of the hotel. The mall across the street is a very large one and has very nice restaurants and cafes including Burger King and Starbucks.

Decent location away from the main city
My husband and I recently stayed at the hotel for three nights. Other than the fact the rooms were very small and reaked of cigeratte smoke (we are non smokers) I would recommend the hotel. Make sure to ask for a NON smoking room- everyone in Europe smokes!! We liked the location as it was on the outer skirts of the city away from all the tourism but only a 7 minute cab ride away... Take a 10 cab ride to Gothic city and walk around and absorb the culture of Barcelona...
