Nice hotel for a budget
I was satisfy with the hotel overall. I was unsatisfied with the parking lot as it was very small and sometimes no spaces available. The hotel seemed old and outdated. I think new carpeting and a coat of paint would make a world of difference. Overall I would stay there again. It was in a good location to downtown Cork.

Great experience
The hotel staff help me with everything; they call the tour companies for me to assist me with what I needed for visiting the tourist attractions of my choice; they made sure that I had maps to move around the city; my my room was clean and fully stacked with towels, coffee, tea, etc. I am looking forward to stay there again next year.I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Expedia for booking such great place for me.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel. Staff is very friendly and willing to do anything you ask. Money exchange at the desk is very convenient and close to the bus stations and taxis

Just visited in Sep ’08
Hotel is located about 10 min taxi ride from the airport, and minutes from the center of Cork walking. When we booked it was a Quality Hotel, and when we arrived it had become Maldron Hotel. There was no confusion about our reservations, and checkin went smoothly. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly (and we asked alot of questions!). If I had any negative feedback, it would be that the pool closes at 8pm, so any plans for coming back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing and hanging out at the pool were not to be realized. Also, there is no internet access in the room (wireless or otherwise). There is supposedly wireless access in the lobby. And finally, the hotel is a bit of a hike uphill from the center of Cork, so after a long day of walking, save a little energy to get yourself back to your room :-).
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you’re staying in Cork, keep in mind that there is a bus station and a train station within walking distance...save yourself some money on taxis!
